The Visual Show that I had

These are some of the selected pictures from the October Visual Show 2009. Costume inspired by Red Riding Hood. Remade hooded jacket from Long Ladies Jacket and Silver leggings which i felt would be easier and less time taking, I should say i am satisfied with the outcome of my sketches and research.

This was one of the first pose that my Model gave . Awesome shot, love the settings. My model have had hard times without sleeves, but, to stick out her hands on that small openings.

This is a very interesting shot, the colors , make-ups and model style of facing the lens blends in real well. Most probably the reason is uploaded.

This shot was taken from the Last Show of the Second Day, this outfit was worn on last shows with hood down, but as suggested , made it all better for fun sake as it was friend's and family part of the show.

Here it goes, i uploaded the pictures, Thank you, Enjoy, God bless.

The First Year of Diploma Fashion got over

I am at the new level of study course, i am done with my short 9 months of 1st year Diploma course in Fashion Design. Now, I am on a weekend break to start with 2nd year, it has been a great experience, learning new basics from all the different classes. I am glad to be sharing all these happenings and i know that this new and next level of study will improve my skills and boost up my interests in this field.

On the other hand, morning devotions are seriously pushing my courage and faith into another level; closer and stronger. God has been always faithful in helping me out with every steps that i take.
There is none like Him who is willing to listen to you and give solution someway or the other.
I believe that He is there for each and everyone of Us if we seek Him. Mighty God that i worship.

I have also applied for new student visa and enrolled for 2nd year, wait for the visa and attend full on 2nd year class starting on Monday.

Thank you for all the prayers, God bless.

On that note i am yet to upload photos from the visual show, Updates.

Still Rushing

This month has been a great month from day one, since the day i updated the August Rush. Now, look at me i come here to update my blog after 25 days of the month. I have been enjoying so much, forgetting some of the other things to enjoy through and out this month.

Well, much to be thankful to God, because this month has been a great month of fruitfulness in everything that i do, starting from my class works to my daily activities, whatever i do seems to be working out well. But on the other part, i am finding joy in whatever I am doing, that's the greatest thing that one can achieve from life.

Everything is just great ( that i shouldn't be saying), i have lots of things to be done within this month, as on 25th of August, it scares me a little. Reasons are; 1st year of my study course is finishing soon, assignments to be completed, to find a model and  a makeup student to work along with for the visual show and it has to be submitted with completed consent form at the end of this month. Oh cool, i have something to do in some days to come before this month end.

Today, as recorded the temperature in Christchurch rose up to 19 degree celsius, which was pretty warm, spring is up and flowers are refreshingly blooming making it better for me to wake up 10 minutes earlier than usual. I could see hundreds of people at the same time consuming vitamin D.  Great times here in Christchurch.

I need help with much prayer for my visual show. Thank you, updates later.

August Rush>>>>>>>>

New month has come, it was really a surprising thing for me as i saw my friend's text saying 'July is over, How days goes so fast ?' As this new month approaches, assignments are released from the cage of nobody's owned world (randomly distributed).

My rush for this month are assignments for each and every part of my study and designing for the upcoming visual show on the month of October. These are my real deal for this month.

But, on the other side of this month's rushing affect, I believe August and part of September months are the most interesting part of the year because this time of year are easily forgotten, new season breaking, warmer for cold, colder for hot, more people in roads, busy traffic, smiling faces and group chattering. All these things come to Point Busier. These months are also the solution/upgrading period for every academic year.

Finally, this time of year (August-September) are like summer bruise, easily healed and forgotten/forgiven. Surely, will I have a great time. Thank you.

God bless, Great Months Ahead.

Holiday it was, class it is.

Titles can be deceiving when it comes to blog writing, it can pull someone's curiosity to get it into the content of the blog, so i guess this is one of that pulling blog.

With no further silly explanation on the pulling factor of blog jotting, i will make sure that i clear up the confusion regarding the title given ' Holiday it was, class it is'. In simple words, it means i got over with holiday and on classes already.

But on the other hand, i would like to talk about the times resuming from the last update on my blog. So, after four nights of youth conference I am refresh and ready to pay heed on the will of God regarding every aspects of my life. The youth conference ended up with such a great anointment on the lifes of young people across the South Island of New Zealand. Last night of the conference, heard an awesome sermon on the calling of Moses, to recall; it was through an ordinary burning bush that God called Him to rescue Israelites who were slaves under the strong hands of Pharaoh, Moses was given two gifts, which was the Staff and the healing power, and we know that Moses was successful on rescuing thousands of Israelites out of Egypt.

This story/sermon implies to all of us and also reminding us that God can use ordinary things to make it extraordinary, and whosoever it may be, submission and faithful dedication to God can only be the solution and we know that God will take care. The conference was a worthwhile meeting for all the children of God, just wishing it could have been longer.

Well, coming to the class section, Monday(today) so called ' The first Lieutenant' of all the working days was my first day of college after almost 3 weeks of holiday, i was excited for all the classes, but to my surprise i woke up with blocked nose filled with bugger. Before all these, i had an amazing Sunday service both morning and evening, it suited my mood for listening good sermons in a very soothing way. I can proudly say, I got a birthday gift even though my birthday was about three weeks ago, my sweet sweet annoying friends gifted me CK ( Eu Du Toilette spray ) cool, which i love it. Anyways, getting back to today's happening i was not feeling really good coming out of the house, yet, under compulsion i guess, to submit my cocktail hat assignment that i had to attend millinery class, i was there for a while and then suddenly i started feeling the hard pounding pulse on my head, like heart on my head, i knew this won't be of any good if stayed longer. I walked back home, bugger free falling, loud breathing and eyes filled with tears. Now, I am hoping that tablets that i had will do the cleaning job.

Guess that's what i have been wanting to write from the moment i sat down. Thank you for reading. More updates.

I hereby, declare, great holiday.

Why is it a great holiday? To start with, i had some good sleep overs at my cousin's place, shorter days longer nights, cooking some indian dish, interesting talks(not politics) and so on. One night, i stayed up till 4 in the morning with my cousin looking at lots of family photos, talked about relatives and reminiscing all the good times.

Next comes, Somner beach, evening bus ride(about 15 minutes) and some good walks with Rino and cousin.

The greatest of them all happen to be today, i got up around 11:16 am, got out of the house to help friends decorating a sitting room for all the guests who were there for a conference ( Get smart conference), which is one of the biggest conference held every year for all the Youths and Churches of South Island, New Zealand.

So, I got over with the decoration about 5 pm,came back home, cooked the simplest dinner (Dal and rice with an omelet), got out of the house again after 30 minutes for attending the first meeting of Get smart conference.

Attending it for the first time in such big conference, i was thrilled, excited and moved by the number of young people, mostly in high schools and colleges present there. Songs of praise and worship were great, just to be there with all the other young people was such a great time, hundreds of people came forward committing their lifes to God. It was such an awesome experience to be there listening the word of God from Craig Clark, he spoke from Isaiah 61...The spirit of the Lord God is upon me ; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn......and partly from the book of Acts, ended up the sermon by sharing experiences and reminding us of all the blessings that God has bestowed upon us. The session got over with a prayer for all the newly committed young people.

Anyways, this Get Smart Conference continues till the 17th of July, other sessions from morning to evening will go on with the members who have paid for it, night sessions are open to public by paying $10.

As for me, i will be on night sessions.

That's all the update i have for the day. Thank you.

3rd of July the birthday.

Im 22 years old now, a little add-on to my age. Feeling awesome and thankful that God has been guiding, loving, blessing me through all these times.

Well, the day was great, it started with a surprise birthday cake (lemon cheese flavour) at 12:01am to be precise, it was more surprising for me to see only six candles on top of the cake, made me happier though, it happened all of a sudden when we were on our movies. I am so thankful to them, it was all good, well observed birthday, make me so happy bros.
That's not the end, the real fun was cooking dinner at my cousin's place (ning), made a naga dish (pork with bamboo shoot), which i believe they enjoyed and loved it.

I got dozens of calls from my family back at home, that's the best part, the other best part and the best gift was from my dear monkey buddy Maris who made a video which is crazy sweet and real funny, watched for about 12 times or more than that, i forget and more to go. I love it so much, reminded me of all the times that we had together; crazy, fun, sharing, love and more, i know crazy fun times will be there when we meet again. Thank you so much buddy.

Anyways, my holiday is still on, i am on my fourth day, more updates to come.

Regards and prayers, God bless.

1st day of the holiday.

Oh yes i had a great first day of the holiday, started my day at 11 something, missed out the whole sunrise thing, got out to the college with my friend and then to a fabric shop for some millenary materials.

By the way, the materials were expensive, looking at it, didn't give me that satisfying feeling to be buying a small feather for about $4, got rid of the feather, next came, a tiny fabric rubber lining band which is about $3, this one i couldn't ignore as it was really needed, moreover, for a hat to stay in one's head, which goes under the hair. Just for the information, i have a due assignment on millenary class ( cocktail hat), which has to be submitted on the first day of the college after the break. Thats all i bought along with a 5 m black ribbon roll from the fabric shop(spotlight). (picture of the hat will be uploaded if needed when its made) I got back to the college met up some of my classmates and then home. Sorry, but thats how i spent it, i hope to update the interesting ones in the days to come.

Great day, God bless.

WITNESSING IN WORDS AND DEEDS

Witnessing is sharing God's love and the experience of salvation with others. It is not an academic excercise as the world is more inclined to - it is rather sharing of one's personal experience.
If someone, who has not experienced salvation or not living a faithful life tries to witness, it would turn out to be an artificial act and will not be fruitful at all. As much as a blind cannot lead another blind, a person who does not know Christ cannot witness Christ to others.
Any attempt to witness must be preceded by a transformed life. The transformation that has taken place internally would be visible ( manifested ) externally reflecting God's love to those around us. Our friends will notice the difference in us. They will first see in us what we would share with them in words. For witnessing to be effective, our words and deeds must converge and complement each other.
We cannot witness in words alone. Our deeds must speak louder than our words. They must see in us what we preach. We cannot show our faith without work ( James 2: 17-20).
Our witnessing is a spontaneous outflow of our internal belief, driven by the love of God ( 2 Corinthians 5:14 says that the Love of God constrained us..) and expressed in words.
Finally, we must glorify God in whatever we do whether in words or in deeds. ( Colossians 3:17
)

WE WILL MISS HIM

Hangyul, the younger brother of Han wool will be moving for homestay with one of the Asian family, this will be happening tomorrow evening. Long story short, even though we the brothers have thought of ourselves to be old enough , the school authority have told us that we haven't reach the age to be his local guardian. In other words, the school authority proclaims, according to the article so and so of the New Zealand constitution, it implies that one should reach the age of 25 or more, older the better, to be taking care of a fully grown 16 year old boy.
On the other hand, thanking God that he got into homestay, otherwise the school authority and the government of New Zealand would have send him back to Korea. Atleast this leaves us with plenty of time to go and visit him whenever we want.
Please be praying as he will be with the new environment which is family setting. I hope that he will have a great time and enjoy the company of others.

Cheers bro, God Bless.

CHRISTCHURCH

Christchurch is the city where i am presently living, this is one of the beach(New Brighton) which is about 15 minutes drive from the City, this picture was taken on a bright sunny day when i was with my buddy Maris, during her lasts days out here in the city. We just went for bus ride to this beach, walk for about an hour or more, went up to the pier , watch surfers struggling, had a good laugh.
This picture reminds me of home because i would stare at the sun setting slowly and imagine all the crazy things that my brain can take. I would imagine of Lord's second coming on that huge orange clouds with loud trumpets with thousands of angels calling out every believers to join him, that would put joy in my heart, to me all of that is Glorious.
I hope to update more and more of this city and of what I am doing. Thank you, God Bless.
