Hours of Darkness

Now, i am here standing in the midst of all these worries of life.

I will listen to God and friends.

I endure and keep all my longings bare.

I stand here with no dignity and no pride.

I feel, the eagerly and possibilities of bursting ideas.

Blind to see the road.

Handicapped with approaching knowledge.

Now, i pray wholeheartedly.

On to the next one

I am done with the things that are uneccesary, i clip them off, i stand strong, i focus into what is needed.

Or is it just the season that is keeping me running further to the next point, i am starting to feel like a little man.

I am here to say , things are made simpler if you try and work what you are suppose to be. This is what i have been feeling lately no matter how hard you try its all about the satisfaction at the end of the day. Are you well fed with the work you have done?

Lastly, i will conclude with this, i am not being over-confident, not ignoring the chain of how things work in men's life. But being myself, not outsmarting anyone, but find my way to make myself happy. I have got enough to lean on to; God, Family and Friends. I believe what they want is what I want and in what i can find joy. This simplify the fact that, you find the truth, you find the non-questionable spot, you find the real joy, you find the peace and you find the best of yourself wherever you are.

These things that i am ripping out of what i feel or have experienced, does not change anything on what your life is based on. But, i am telling you this as long as you are alive, you have questioning power and the ability. Go on explore, find the real deal.

Thank you for reading.

Shirley Boys.

Basketball, the game that i love apart from soccer.

For the past three weeks, i have been playing basketball almost every evening about 2 blocks from home, whenever i go there i get lots of people mostly kids from nearby school Shirley Boys School, they are free, joyful and get along with anybody.

They My Boys, awesome kids. Cracks me all the time. From the day we met, they keep on asking 'where am i from??'. They talk among themselves judging on my appearances, some say filipino, vietnam and combodia, even though i keep on adding my comment saying that I am Indian.

I am sure, the next time i meet them, they will ask me again, some of them with their serious faces thinking that i am playing around. Great times.

Thank you for reading.

TML

This post has got to be random one, whatever my brain and fingertips have worked on it. For instance, i have this diarrhoea of ideas inside my head growling to be released, so it could be useless but worth revealing or releasing with no pressure applied from whichever side, at the highest point of Freedom of expression and speech.

I grew up in a small town Tamenglong, Manipur of Northeast India, which takes forever from any urban cities, for eg Imphal, the capital of Manipur, the nearest city from the town, roads connecting to it are just sickening, starting from the smallest width, dusty, bumpy and possibilities of breaking bones from collar to back spinal.
Tamenglong town is located in one of the river valleys, barak valley i believe, population would be about 1 lac or more. Obviously, the tropical part of the world, extreme heat, rain and erosions are at the highest level. Wildlife, not a dependable place for preservation, hunting/ poaching are still very common, anything that moves are not spared. It is surrounded by 6 to 7 villages , becoming the main center from selling to buying, transportation, educational centers and so on.

Enough said!!!

Now, this is about an incident where my uncle and I were attacked by hundreds of Leeches flipping their bodies wanting to suck blood. We were surrounded by these circus people, leaning on each other's back
, Kerosene was spilled on the ground filled with dried leaves, burnt a big circle getting rid of the leeches and the circus act that came with it.

For this, i had to talk about my town. Love it.

Jakalabanda Jakalabanda

'Jakalabanda' a place in Assam which holds the record for 24x7 music and food corner.ummm..think so, in some random India's Limca record.
Exciting place, full of life, people who travels from Shillong, Meghalaya would probably be familiar with this place, especially people traveling by 'night super buses' to Imphal and Dimapur.

Amazingly, this place provides food for hundreds of travelers everyday, assuming the fact that 10-20 buses from different travel agencies, carrying about 35-40 passengers capacity for up to 4 to 5 destinations. At about 9.30 pm to 11.00 pm, Jakalabanda is in full swing, latest music played in their best stereos, brightest lights are put, hotel managers out in their hotel entrance yelling 'LAAA OOh'('come in' in manipuri/meitei) if buses from manipur are in their parking lot, same would be used if from Nagaland, i believe. For bus drivers, this is the only actual time of refreshing and change of driver do happen in most of the buses, most of drivers would actually refresh themselves with a glass of whiskey or any kind of alcohol, then journey continues till 5 am to 10 am depending on the destinations.

Jakalabanda is at the highest crappiest mood in day time, this place is just a 'shiny disco ball' at night, which is the only advantage of doing business in food, music and even wine stores. This place could be regarded as village at day and city at night, pretty amazing how people are easily lured and I am surprised how they continue to run the town.

Get coconuts, chocolates from turkey, middle east countries and won't recommend betel nuts, its bullshit!! tried it. Hotel food in any form or dishes, it is just tasteless, now that they have added manipuri chutney making it a little better. If you were traveling with me i would tell you to order Chapati/roti and omelette, that is the best i can get.

I am not saying that Jakalabanda is not a recommendable place, but i would highly request and may be pay you to visit this wonderfully, entertaining and one of the busiest place in India. People actually love this place.

Thank you, enjoy reading.

Give me time to reminisce II

I was 11 yrs old, when i first moved to Shillong in St Xavier's school, Polo, i started at class 6. This reminds me of the first two weeks crying moments staring out of the dormitory window to see sunsets or even rain. This hostel had about 30 students , i was with my elder brother till class 8 and then i moved to St Thomas high school. St Xavier as i would say it was not a very good hostel in comparison to other hostels during those days, the building was old, sometimes we could feel the whole building shaking with the occurance of earthquake. Worst of all, if there was a heavy rainfall there would be flood, filling up the whole school compound as it was surrounded by high concrete walls and the river beside the school made it worse.

Crazy and funny things happened when i was there in the hostel, as far as i can remember, i tried making a tatoo with a geometrical compass saying 'kuch kuch hota hai', if it worked, to look at it now, would be the funniest thing with that on my arm. I knew how to play the songs from the movie 'Kaho na pyar hai' as in lead piece guitar. In india, we have Holi celebration, where we play with coloured powder and water, this one was hilarious because two of my seniors during the celebration out of ignorance and stubbornness used wall paints, resulting of not being able to get rid of the paint from their hair, so they had to shave it off. Not to forget, during the flood we used to swim around the school compound, as the water level was safe enough. But one day, after we saw a poop floating around as we were swimming, some freaked out and since then, only some of us continued swimming during my three years stay.

When i first moved to St Thomas for class IX, i had some few months enjoying what i had to as it was a pretty good hostel with different activities compared to St Xavier's school.

...to be continued..

I WENT WHAT THE?

Source- Buddy Monkey who is in Thailand.

Maris found this crazy mannequin, felt the pressure of compulsion and randomness to take this beautifully crafted body of a man with six pack and other accessories.

When she told me that i have something to show, i thought it would be pictures of making faces or scooter fully packed with people. This 'MANKINI' was not expected.

Lastly, unwise to talk about this picture for more than 100-200 words, but, seriously, i went WHAT THE?? when this picture blew up full screen.
Very good laugh indeed.

Thank you, laters

Why someone always have to be there ahead of me???

Why Why? Frustration and frustration, again and again.
I won't probably regret it saying this whenever this thing is going to get over, i have to admit I am over this house renting thing.

Whenever i get a particular house that i like there would be someone waiting for me to save the list on Trademe(New zealand's online auction shop) and take the first chance to get it. Man, sorry from agencies are not good enough to get me settle all my searchings and savings. I need time to relax and stop thinking about this for a while.

What will i do?? May be wait for someone to save some rental list and get it whatever the price may be. Make it happen...i will be the happiest guy (for a moment) if i find a house which is affordable.

Pray pray.

Laters.

Give me time to reminisce.

Time has been real bad, covered huge amount of memories, cruel and fast. Nothing have ever stop time from traveling its own journey , we might have a pause but not a stop.
This would be a Little pause, this blog comes with heavy hearts of old memories of my teenage years on my high school (St Thomas, Residential High School, Umpling, Rynjah, Shillong). Now, to come across a friend who is now in Karnataka doing his Master of Science in horticulture, it was such a joy but out of nowhere i just felt that weird/awkwardness to be talking crazy like we used to and we ended up asking about studies, stages of life that we are in, but to my surprise he is in contact with other classmates from which i got some INfos about them and guess I am not surprise to hear that two of my classmates are married, they are awesomely awesome people, these people were like my brothers. We would wake up together early in the morning to study and accompanying others was just the best part of it. I did learnt so many things from them.. Its a medium size hostel with both boys and girls, its still running pretty well with the nicest Principal still rounding his speech all the time, fake birthday requests to get some money, but, i came to know that at the end of the year, the school would sum up the money along with our tuition and hostel fees.

As far as i can remember , our class room(class X) facing the valleys covered with wild cherry blossoms where we could see National highway through Jowai to Silchar(one of the busiest highway with trucks loaded with coal and other goods.)we could hear their engines roaring going uphill, this part of the year would be the end of January, early morns wake ups(chilly cold 3-4 am) to study, tension for exam and homesick looking out of the window are just mixed feelings being in the hostel. I usually make fun of the word 'Enthusiastic', but i can truly say I am enthusiastic about this one to be sharing.
This is the funny part of me, i have never talked to a girl properly while i was in High School, i had this fear/hesitating voice inside my head, to put it in better words.. i was a shy boy.
To talk more about this, i am not suppose to forget about the food that we used to get in hostel, weekends were like Christmas for us, every weekday's lunch would be vegetables either fried or boiled. So the most interesting food course would be Sunday: Breakfast-Chow(fried noodles with 1 boiled egg), Lunch- fried vegetables and dinner- chicken. This was the best of the best, some would wait for sunday and not eat hostel food on weekdays.
Laundry on thursday was one of the most annoying/terrible thing. I remember, i was putting on my new washed shirt, right after , i started feeling itchy, making lots of little swells all over my body which took some hours to disappear. Apart from that, school shirt buttons were always returned broken: FYI...If you happen to drive pass Rhino point where 101 army head quarters is located, on the way to Guwahati, you will see thousands of colorful school uniforms by the river from St Peter's and St John's....(these are expensive or highly standard residential schools), i am guessing thats the same laundry that we had in our hostel. Facts: Broken buttons- beating against the rock as part of the washing process and allergies/irritation caused by newly washed clothes- river water that runs in yellow/dark color. As to be in the hostel, we had no other choice. I should say, it was hilarious as well.

Thank you for reading, Before i start making no sense, i better make a decision to continue with this next time.

God bless, Great weekend.

If it doesn't break your heart is it love?

Now, this is the fun and with much depth of meaning on this Blog title, taken out from Switchfoot's Song 'Yet'. ...
If it doesn't break
If it doesn't break
If it doesn't break your heart is it love?
No, if it doesn't break your heart it's not enough
It's when you're breaking down with your insides coming out
That's when you find out what your heart is made up of...
One my best selected song and the other one would be Sing it Out, i will say thats the new way of appealing someone, realising the fact that, with such a slow song and the way Jon Foreman(lead vocal) sings the song, it is very clear and easy to be following each and every word lyrically. Songs from this American alternative christian rock band are motivational and inspiring.
I agree, they are always upto the level of other bands, they never let me down, they will continue on.
One sad thing though, i didn't go to their concert when they came here for Parachute 2010, Hamilton, New Zealand. Well, next year im planning to go to Parachute, if im lucky i might see them or even meet them, yeaahhhh.

Thank you for reading, great blogging

I will try to put up a music player on my blog, that will be awesome yeah. Happy days.

God Bless

Nothing much.

Too lazy to be updating but once you start your blog you just can't resist it.
It is too simple to use and update whenever I just need some time to let out what i have done on my past days or even a month.

However, i have been doing good, as for my class and part time job they are just doing fine with rightful administrator. Getting used to with my part time job just surprising to be doing things without someone assisting, its fun i guess.

On the other hand, studies on so called diploma in fashion design is going great, sometimes i often feel lazy to sketch down designs whenever i get the ideas wherever i am. We are about to get busy with our next visual show(May), we have started with our tailored jacket which is the biggest thing out of all things in Second year.
Church is going , i have been enjoying a lot playing drums as part of the worship team, this month's theme is 'forward', somehow i am enjoying it.

Well then, i will be updating you guys later, thank you for reading.
Remember me in your prayers, so that i can balance things well in life.
Thanks, God Bless.
